Age 11-17 ADVANCED ACTING MASTERCLASS THURSDAY

Leading Ensemble
 
 4.30 - 6.30pm    2 hour session

Focused, energetic, educational.     

$165 per term
 

  A high focus ensemble
For beginners and those who wish to extend performance skills.

Warm up/cool down/run a session/gain focus, develop strong ability in acting and vocal work. Monologues/duologues.

Research prominent theatre practitioners.  

Undertake Physical Theatre/

Intermediate to Advanced acting training.

Develop Devising/Directing/Playwrighting skills

Experience Shakespearean and Classic work

Stage fighting choreography

Audition practice

Become a disciplined, knowledgeable young actor in this fully engaged, focused ensemble.    
 

Student productions are prepared by the ensemble taking a technical or administrative roles as well as a performance role.  

Students are expected to be focused and committed in all sessions.

Basic to Advanced Adult Acting
6.45 -7.45    1 hour session 

Focused, educational, cathartic.     

$120 per term
 

For beginners and experienced performers. High focus group for those who wish to develop acting skills and theatre knowledge.  Audition for tertiary study preparation included on request.   
 

Explore selection of texts

Undertake advanced acting activities

Work on contemporary scenes with scene partners

Research 2 significant playwrights
Physical and mental stage training

Introduction to Shakespeare

Stage fight choreography

Develop Mask/Character work

Children's Theatre/Devized work

Scripted performances.
Students must prepare short monologue for training 


Students are expected to be committed to all sessions.
